Whangara Old Girls will need to put the big defeat at the hands of YMP (1) on the Victoria Domain courts last Saturday behind them tonight, when they front up to the unbeaten Horouta Koura.

Those two teams play the middle game of three tonight in the Gisborne YMCA.

The night starts with the 6pm game between Gisborne Girls’ High School Senior A and Claydens Waikohu ( 1).

Girls’ High have suffered two losses while Waikohu have had two close wins.

The students will need to bring their top game for the full 40 minutes to compete with them.

At 7pm Whangara OG (1) play TR Builds Horouta Koura.

Whangara will need to put last weekend’s game behind them and work together as a team, because Horouta Koura have had two strong wins and will want to add another one.

At 8pm Turanga FM YMP (YMP 1) meet Character Roofing YMP (YMP 2).

So a battle looms then between the clubmates.

YMP (2) will be pleased with their effort in pushing higher-seeded Waikohu 1 last week, but will need the whole team working together tonight, because YMP (1) have found their winning way and will be hard to stop.
