SLAMMERS turned their fortunes around in the Badminton Eastland business house league in the second night of competition last Thursday.

Slammers had lost both their ties on the first night the previous week, but took no pity on the A Team last Thursday, winning 6-0.

Anaura 3+1 and Wananga Worx, made up of players from Tolaga Bay, had some close matches, with the Anaura team gaining the upper hand.

Team IFL, a new combination with more new players on the night, showed improvement with the help of their opponents, WSP, who gave them some hints. Well done.

Teams are asked to ring Linda White if they cannot attend, so that opponents can be informed. It’s too cold for teams to turn up only to find they have no one to play.
