The second round of BIZminton 5 was held last Wednesday night with a new team, GDC, hitting the courts with the eight others.

Either teams have been practising or players haven’t taken long to get back into form.

GDC look as if they will be a team to be reckoned with. They had a win and a loss on their first night, even though they hadn’t been in this competition for a few years.

Again the closest tie of the night involved the Stanley Family. This time they took the tie — against the Sidney Whanau — by four points on countback, 145-141, after the match ended in a 3-3 draw.

ThemissBhaviours, WPS Opus (2) and Slammers were the other teams who dominated during the evening.
