GISBORNE’S Charmaine McMenamin will play for the women’s Barbarians rugby side against Wales in Cardiff this weekend.
McMenamin was selected alongside fellow Black Ferns Steph Te Ohaere-Fox, Eloise Blackwell and Ruahei Demant and Auckland player Tess Gard’ner for the fixture on Sunday morning, NZ time.
Ten nations are represented in
the Barbarians team.
Both the men’s and women’s Barbarians teams will play the Welsh national teams at Principality Stadium this weekend.
It’s the second time the Barbarians have had a double-header fixture. The first was when the men’s and women’s teams faced England in June.
