Ian McGrory won the feature race for adults at Eastland Kart Club’s seventh points meeting of the season.

Twelve drivers contested the feature race, which was held over 12 laps at the end of Sunday’s meeting.

The race included a shorter, “joker” lap, to be taken when drivers chose, so timing could be crucial.

Feature winner McGrory also had the fastest lap of the day (21.910s), while the fastest joker lap was recorded by Mike Vita (20.415s).

Runner-up in the feature race was Shaun Barwick, third was Shane Murrell, fourth was Daniel Taylor and fifth, Vita.

Irvine was second, Asher Davis third, Lennox McIndoe fourth and Chloe Hughes fifth.

In the adult groups, drivers had four races, during which they competed against every other driver at some stage.
