Mangapapa Hurricanes are double winners

Mangapapa Hurricanes completed the double at Watson Park last Saturday.

They beat Wainui Thunder 4-0 to add the Primary School Cup to their league success.

In the Primary A Grade competition, the Hurricanes played 10, won 10, scored 100 goals and conceded nine.

Mangapapa also won the midweek six-a-side primary competition final against Wainui in a penalty shoot-out.

Meanwhile, Central United beat Ormond Strikers to win the Primary School Plate in junior football at Watson Park last weekend.
