Luca Vita won all three A Group races when Eastland Kart Club members met on Sunday for their second points meeting of the season.

But Lyn Lyle, at 70-plus, was not far off the pace, taking two second placings in this group.

Drivers did timed laps to set their groups for the first race.

As the day went on, they could go up or down a group, depending on their times and results.

The A Group drivers were the fastest, with Vita leading the way and Lyle not far behind.

Harley Davis had a second and two thirds, while Daniel Taylor picked up a third placing, as well.

The B Group wins went to Hamish Worsnop, Ben Briant and Tessa Irvine, who each had one win.

Buck Rogers had two second placings and Conrad Gooch, one.

Caleb Stichbury had two third placings and Mark Vizi Toroa, one.

The junior class competed under the old three-heat format — front, middle and back.

Wins here went to Pyper Irvine (two) and Indigo McGuinness.

A marble draw determined where karts started in the feature race at the end of the meeting. This race is a favourite with drivers and spectators alike.

Over 10 laps, the 11 drivers put on quite a show. A few crashes occurred in this race, but no one was hurt.

Daniel Taylor took first place and Tessa Irvine, second.

Shaun Barwick did well to pick up third place.
