Ngati Porou-Fijian lock Isaia Walker-Leawere has been named in a 24-strong Maori All Blacks squad to prepare for a one-off match against Moana Pasifika at FMG Stadium Waikato in Hamilton.
Hawke’s Bay and Highlanders hooker Ash Dixon will captain the side against Moana Pasifika on December 5.
Clayton McMillan ishead coach, assisted by Highlanders head coach Tony Brown and Roger Randle.
The squad has an injection of youth around a core of experience, including Dixon and former All Black Liam Messam, 36, who will appear for the Maori All Blacks for the first time since 2017.
The squad also features Whetu Douglas and Sean Wainui, both of who affiliate to Ngati Porou.
