Ironman rescheduled

Organisers of Ironman New Zealand yesterday confirmed that the event would now take place on Saturday, March 27.

Under the Covid-19 Alert Level 2, events of more than 100 people cannot take place — meaning that Nutri-Grain Ironman NZ cannot be held on Saturday in Taupo as originally scheduled.

Waikohu beat Taihape, not Opotiki, in the final of the 15s rugby tournament held at Patutahi Domain at the weekend.
