Netball fans can gorge themselves on another feast of their favourite sport tonight at the YMCA.

For the second week running, the indoor auditorium is the battleground for a Pak’nSave Gisborne premier-grade tripleheader.

Kicking off the treble is a 5.45pm clash between Horouta Gold and Gisborne Girls’ High Senior A.

“Both of these teams have yet to win, so will have targeted this game as their first,” netball commentator Sherrill Beale said.

“Both played well in the YMCA last week and worked together throughout the court, so I am expecting the same.”

Horouta had the weekend off while Girls’ High were in Saturday action — a 35-19 loss to YMP (1).

Defending champions F45 High School Old Girls face Claydens Waikohu (1) in the second game at 6.45pm.

HSOG have started their campaign with two wins while Waikohu were involved in a one-goal thriller against YMP last weekend — YMP taking the honours.

“HSOG had a slow start last Wednesday (before beating Girls’ High 39-30) but won’t want to do the same for this game,” Beale said.

“This should be an evenly-contested game as both teams have players capable of upsetting the flow of their opposition.”

YMP and Whangara complete a busy Wednesday night in a 7.45pm game.

Whangara pipped Horouta Gold by a sole goal last week and will need to hit the court running against YMP.

“YMP looked strong (against Girls’ High on Saturday) and now have two wins from two games, so Whangara will need to bring their top game,” Beale said.

“Expect a competitive game between these two.”
