Hutana makes BoP training squad

Gisborne netballer Manaia Hutana has been selected for the Waikato-Bay of Plenty off-season training squad for next year’s national netball league.

Her selection follows the Waikato-Bay of Plenty national netball league open trials last weekend.

The squad will take part in skill work and conditioning sessions over the summer, before the final trials on February 3.

“Massive congratulations to Manaia for again making the squad and we wish her good luck,” Gisborne Netball Centre manager Allisa Hall said.

“We’ll all be keeping our fingers crossed for her to make the team next year.”
