Spectators at Eastland Kart Club’s third points meeting of the season saw some excellent racing.

The fastest lap of the day — 19.213 seconds — belonged to Harley Davis.

In the KT heavy class, Buck Rogers had two wins, and Fred Winterton and Dion Lund had a win each. Lund also had two second placings, and Rogers and Winterton, one each. Ben Adcock had three third placings, and Winterton, one.

In the junior class, speed demon Pyper Irvine won all four races. Nixen Gooch had three second placings.

The Rotax class really turned it on. Luca Vita showed real class in taking out three wins and a second placing.Roger Moss took the other win.

Tim De La Haye took all four wins in the young guns class; Logan Irvine took all four second placings and Brodie Gooch got three thirds.

In the KT lights class for drivers under 85 kilograms, Luca Vita took two wins and two second placings, while hard-charging Seth Hall got himself a win and two seconds.

Daniel Taylor picked up a win and three thirds, while Mike Vita grabbed a third placing.

In the women’s class, Robyn De La Haye pulled off the move of the day — around the outside of Lyn Lyle — to take one of her three wins.

Sharyn Rogers took the other win, and two thirds besides. Lyle had a good day with three second placings. Tessa Irvine had a second and two thirds.

The open class produces some great racing. Vinzent MacGregor had two wins and two second placings, while Harley Davis had two wins.

Robert De La Haye, new to this class, earned two seconds and two thirds.

Dylan MacGregor blew his engine so his day was over early. He will be back stronger than before.
