Gisborne gymnasts performed with distinction at the Manawatu GymSports Junior Open in Palmerston North this month.

India Gill, Amarah Cameron, Lizelle Duckworth and Sarai Gudgeon were first overall in their sections.

Step 1 — Daphne Morris: 2nd on vault; 4th overall.

Step 2 — India Gill: 3rd on vault, 3rd on beam, 4th on floor; 1st overall.

Lea O’Reilly: 3rd on bars, 5th on beam; 3rd overall.

Monroe Brouwer: 1st on bars, 5th on floor.
