Gisborne gymnasts performed with distinction at the Manawatu GymSports Junior Open in Palmerston North this month.

India Gill, Amarah Cameron, Lizelle Duckworth and Sarai Gudgeon were first overall in their sections.

Gisborne Gymnastics Club results from the Manawatu GymSports Junior Open in Palmerston North this month —

Step 1 — Daphne Morris: 2nd on vault; 4th overall.

Step 2 — India Gill: 3rd on vault, 3rd on beam, 4th on floor; 1st overall.

Hollie Walsh: 2nd on beam.

Lea O’Reilly: 3rd on bars, 5th on beam; 3rd overall.

Monroe Brouwer: 1st on bars, 5th on floor.

Zeva Kinnaird: 3rd on beam, 1st on floor; 2nd overall.

Step 3 — Amarah Cameron: 2nd on vault, 5th on bars, 1st on beam; 1st overall.

Lizelle Duckworth: 5th on vault, 1st on beam, 2nd on floor; 1st overall.

Step 4 — Celena Bull: 5th on floor.

Step 5 — Capria Tamatea: 1st on floor; 2nd overall.

Step 6 — Sarah Hawkins: 2nd on vault, 2nd on bars, 5th on beam, 5th on floor; 3rd overall.

Sarai Gudgeon: 3rd on vault, 1st on bars, 1st on beam, 4th on floor; 1st overall.
