Damien Smith, Pippa Spence, Jack Murphy, Mason Rennie, Scott Pheasant and Stan Donaldson — now racing a half track — also had five good motos.
Six and seven years
Anna Spence had too much speed for this group but William Johnston Priest did his best to grab a couple of wins. Jakob Rennie ,Blake Carpendale, Maz Trutt, Frank Donaldson, Stephen Bennett and Liam Nicol battled well, with plenty of passing and good racing.
Eight and nine years
Reave Nepia-Anderson had a clean sheet of wins but was chased hard by Walker Wallis and Brad O’Connell-Bacon. These three had some very close racing, which was good for Reave and Brad as they prepared for the North Island champs. Oliver Pheasant had his best night for a while, and was often close to the top three. Lucas Leif Nicol and Ada Lasenby rounded out the group.
Ten and 11 years
Ashar McKnight and Kyran Lasenby tied for first place. Cory Carpendale was a close third in some very tight racing.
Twelve and 13 years
Ruby-Anne Smith had four wins from five races, Brendan Bell winning the other moto. Kaitlyn Priest was a close third.
Sixteen-plus
Dylan Lardelli topped the night in this 10-strong group, with four wins. In close racing, JT Nepia, Scott Taylor and Joshua Lardelli were always in contention. James Chatfield was the best of the rest, while Phill Gill, Jason Lasenby, Tim Smith, Chris Fox and Kyrstal Smith raced hard.
Thirty-plus masters
David Bacon took the round win with Sherilyn Anderson, Guy Spence and Kyla Newton all looking fast.
