POVERTY Bay Rugby Football Union's senior representative side regained the Jeremy David Memorial trophy in Napier on Saturday.

They beat Wairarapa Bush 36-31. Last year's match was won by Wairarapa Bush 46-26.

Poverty Bay also won the under-20s' clash against Wairarapa Bush, 26-19, on Saturday.

In Barry Cup rugby yesterday, Waikohu defeated Ngatapa 31-21.

In Super 8 schools rugby, Hamilton Boys' High School first 15 beat Gisborne Boys' High School 50-5 on the Rectory ground in Gisborne.

Hamilton's second 15 beat their Gisborne counterparts 33-7.
