Gisborne rugby reporter and television commentator Ben O’Brien-Leaf features in a segment on World Rugby Show on SKY Sport 1 tomorrow.

O’Brien-Leaf was interviewed by UK-based cameraman-producer James Allen in Tolaga Bay on April 7, with the Uawa-versus-Waiapu game going on in the background.

World Rugby Show is a half-hour weekly magazine television show that incorporates “highlights, news and features from every level of the sport”.

O’Brien-Leaf was interviewed about the importance of grassroots rugby in places like the East Coast.

The programme will screen from 5pm to 5.30pm tomorrow on SKY Sport 1 (channel 51), and the segment featuring O’Brien-Leaf is in the second half of the show.
