Dylan Foster’s team got off to a good start, earning a point in each of the first three ends to lead 3-0.
In the fourth end, Lynn’s team took the shot to close the score to 3-1. Lynn’s team found their groove in the next end, with Karyn Foster and White drawing great bowls as they secured four shots to lead 5-3.
Great draw bowls again by Lynn’s team left their opponents with no back bowls in the sixth end, leaving Dylan Foster with an awkward last bowl. The damage was kept to one shot, and Lynn’s team led 6-3.
Some great bowling by both teams led to a tied seventh end.
A great draw bowl by Dylan Foster with his first bowl in the eighth end reduced the deficit to 6-4.
However, his team were unable to find two shots in the last end. Dylan Foster eventually killed the kitty and Lynn’s team won 9-4.

The women’s, men’s and open singles will be held this month, along with the first PBEC representative event of the year – the annual President’s Cup fixture against Hawke’s Bay.
The PBEC centre is looking to build on its successful 2025 season.
