Gisborne drivers make podium

GISBORNE speedway racers Brenden Gooch and Daniel Cook came home from racing out of town at the weekend with podium finishes.

Gooch (2NZ) finished runner-up in the Wellington streetstock championships on Saturday night and Cody Gooch (6G) finished fifth in a 23-car field.

Cook (77G) was runner-up in the Hawke’s Bay saloon car championships at the Meeanee Raceway.
