Junior players Hinetapora Kaiwai and Joel Horua are mixing it with the adults in the Gisborne Club Darts Association Tuesday night league.

Hinetapora, who is only 11, plays in the B Grade while Joel, 9, is in the A Grade.

Both are members of Tao Matarau Junior and Youth Dart Academy and are the reigning New Zealand junior mixed pairs champions.

Hinetapora was among the individual highlights in this week’s round. She had one of the highest starts — 140.
