HOCKEY

THE Gisborne Girls’ High School/Campion College combined hockey team remain winless after three rounds of the Rosemary O’Brien Tournament on the LJ Hooker Turf at Harry Barker Reserve.

The local girls, who lost to Napier Girls’ High (2) and Albany Junior High on Day 1, were beaten 4-1 by Papamoa College yesterday.

Papamoa and Napier are unbeaten after three games and will meet at 6pm tonight.

Results from yesterday: Albany Junior High School 0 Napier Girls High (2) 5, Tauhara College Taupo 0 Solway College 4, Gisborne Girls’ High School/Campion 1 Papamoa College 4.

Today’s games — 8.30am: Gisborne Girls’ High School/Campion College v Solway College.

10am: Albany Junior High v Papamoa College.

11.30am: Tauhara College v Napier Girls’ High (2).
