THE GISBORNE Harriers’ River Run series returns again tomorrow, and the club is urging people to join in with the weekly fun run series.

Club president Paul Naske said people could meet at the Marina Car park at 5.30pm every Thursday for the next two months if they were interested in registering to have a go at the 2.5km course.

“It's a family-friendly course in town which crosses no roads so it's suitable for all ages. You can run or walk the 2.5km lap once or twice. Registration is at 5.30pm and race starts at 6pm. Entry is $2 per person.”

Mr Naske said the River Run series aimed to get as many people as possible active.

The series will also include Tairawhiti Multicultural Council’s annual Colour Run, which would use the same course but with bags of colour thrown in, on March 19.
