The Disability Inclusion fund built on enhanced investment by Sport NZ to Parafeds, D-Sport and seven National Disability Sport Organisations. It was another step in the delivery on commitments in the Sport NZ 2019 Disability Action Plan.
“We want to see everyone developing inclusive experiences so more disabled people can enjoy being active,” Rolls said.
Applicant organisations have to show how they can make sustainable changes within their networks to benefit children and young people. They can apply, individually or collectively, for single or multi-year funding up to a maximum amount of $100,000 a year.
