Electrinet Park secures place in men's interclub pennants semifinals

Electrinet Park (1) has sealed a place in the semifinals of Oligoi Jug men’s interclub pennants with one round of round-robin play to go.

An 8-0 matchplay whitewash of Patutahi (1) and 6-2 defeat of defending champions Poverty Bay (1) put Park (1) into the overall points standings lead after rounds 5 and 6 at Te Puia Springs Golf Club yesterday. Park (1) are sitting on 30 points with Te Puia Springs second on 27, Patutahi (2) third on 24 and Tolaga Bay fourth on 21.

Poverty Bay have 17, Park (2) 13 and Patutahi (1) 12. Round 7 and the semifinals are at Poverty Bay on May 14.
