Poverty Bay clubs up the preseason intensity tomorrow in a six-match exchange with Eastern Bay of Plenty clubs.

Four of the matches are being held in Gisborne, one is at Te Karaka and the other will see Ngātapa heading through Waioeka Gorge to take on Ōpōtiki.

In the battle of the champions, Poverty Bay 2023 Premier club competition winners YMP will take on their EBoP Senior A counterparts Te Teko at Barry Park at 2.45pm.

The other Gisborne games are all at the Oval — two at 1pm, one at 2.45.

In the 1pm games, OBM host Whakatāne Marist while High School Old Boys take on Ruatoki.

Pirates  are up against  Poroporo in the 2.45pm clash.

Waikohu are in home action tomorrow against Paroa at 2.45pm.

The last time the EBoP exchange was held (in 2022), Poverty Bay teams won four of five games held, including a 29-28 thriller between YMP and Whakatāne Marist.
