Bohemians defender Teah Te Omanga Kahaki had a strong game, keeping tabs on the Campion strikers.
However, Campion scored through speedster Sophia Zame and livewire midfielder Lucy Allan.
The margin could have been more than two, but Campion failed to capitalise on many of their chances.
Campion’s Dara Mulrooney caused havoc down the left-hand side and Grace Levy looked dangerous up front.
Campion coach Phil Allan was happy with the result but frustrated with the missed opportunities.
Heavy Equipment Services United hosted Gisborne Girls’ High School at Harry Barker Reserve.
United quickly took advantage of Girls’ High not having a specialist keeper this year, and won 10-1.
United’s Tessa McDonald and Sarah Graham each scored two goals. Rebecca Peach scored twice from penalties given for handball.
Claire Bayliss, Lydia Wood, Stella Perano and Chelsea Simpson also scored.
Perano’s goal came from a header from a corner in the second half, and the 40-metre chip over the keeper from Wood was spectacular.
A looping shot by Charley Leeper produced the only goal for Girls’ High.
Gisborne Laundry Services Wainui Riverina also scored nine — against Tatapouri Marist Thistle at Wainui.
Wainui Riverina raced out to a two-goal lead, thanks to goals from player-coach Lizzie Hall and the first goal in a hat-trick for Larisa Allan.
Sophie Hemmington and Rosa Evans added two more before halftime.
Evans and Allan got their second goals just after the restart before Trisha Hina put away two.
Allan’s final goal of her hat-trick came in the 83rd minute.
