KARTING by Rockin’ Robin

EASTLAND Kart Club’s decision to go ahead with the club championships on Sunday paid off.

Committee members met at the track on Sunday morning, in view of the rain that had fallen on Saturday and early on Sunday.

They decided to run the meeting, but pushed the start time from 10am to 12 midday.

This proved to be a great call as the rain cleared and the track had plenty of drive.
