EXCITING games in the men’s netball competition produced a draw and a one-point result at the YMCA last night.

The unbeaten Noogies beat Uawa 30-29 in the feature match.

LHS (Lytton High School) drew with The Joops 27-all, and Big M defeated BDPC 21-15.

“We had very close, competitive games last night,” netball commentator Sherrill Beale said. “The men are developing a better understanding of the rules.

“Big M and The Noogies remain unbeaten with three wins from three games. The spectators are enjoying these games and there are cheers, laughs, calls of encouragement and suggestions about what to do. It’s a great atmosphere at the YMCA on Thursday nights.”
