“Both teams have been playing good netball and have skilled players in all areas of the court.
“I am expecting some very good match-ups through the court. This will be a close contest.”
Whangara coach Ronnie Martin said the aim would be to repeat the performance they put up against YMP last weekend.
“The players understand the position they need to be in at playoffs time.”
The top-placed team will play the fourth-placed team, and second will play third to decide the grand finalists.
“We haven't beaten High School Old Girls this season, but I believe we have the ability to do that tomorrow,” Martin said.
Whangara would have a full squad tomorrow, which would help, she said.
In the first premier game tomorrow, at 11am, YMP have the chance to catch Whangara on the table should Whangara slip up against HSOG.
YMP play Gisborne Girls' High School Senior A in a match they should win.
“Last time these teams met, YMP won by 10, but the students have gained more confidence since then and have been playing well as a team,” Beale said
“But YMP will be smarting from last week's loss to Whangara, so I expect them to come out strongly.
“Girls' High will need to stick to their own game plan and work together to withstand the pressure from the more experienced opposition.”
The final premier match tomorrow, at 1pm, has Claydens Waikohu (1) in action against Horouta Gold.
“Fourth-placed Waikohu have been steadily improving and the players have been more confident in working together on attack and defence,” Beale said.
“Horouta will need their top game if they want to stop the Waikohu flow.”
Beale said the requirements under Level 2 would continue this weekend.
“There were many smiling faces on our young netballers as they returned to the courts last Saturday,” she said,
“The smiles will be even wider this weekend because they can play more netball.”
Primary and senior grades will be at Victoria Domain and intermediate and secondary grades will be at Girls' High.
