The GDC Smashers won the BIZminton2021 competition when playoffs were held on the final night of play.

It was the Smashers’ first mercantile badminton title. In the playoffs they defeated Anaura 3+1 in some close matches.

In the previous week’s play, Wananga Worx defeated WSP. However, Wananga Worx had some of their members away when the most recent competition night was held, so they were no match for GDC Smashers.

The evening ended with presentation of the trophy and the draw for spot prizes.

The organisers thanked the participants and hope the teams will enter the next competition Badminton Eastland runs.
