The second night of the badminton business house league had results ranging from dominant wins to close encounters.

In the competitive grade, Cuzzys had some tight matches against RSL51s, a team made up of super veterans.

The score ended three matches each but Cuzzys won by nine on a countback of points.

Unknowns ran out 6-0 victors against 3+1.

In the social grade, all ties were one-sided. Slammers and Asure Quality won all six of their matches while Woolie Jumpers and Stanley Family had 5-1 wins.

Congratulations to HDUBZ on their outfits . . . or were these uniforms? They certainly helped the players jump and glide around the courts.

Results from week 2 —

Social grade: Asure Quality defeated 4TEEN, 6 matches to 0; Stanley Family def HDUBZ, 5-1; Woolie Jumpers def Happy Go Lucky, 5-1; Slammers def Turanga Health, 6-0.

Competitive grade: Mixed Combo def WSP, 4-2; Unknowns def 3+1, 6-0; Cuzzys def RSL51s, 3-3, 135pts to 124.

Draw for TOMORROW (Thursday)  —

6pm: Court 1, Woolie Jumpers v Slammers; C2,  Happy Go Lucky v Turanga Health; C3, 4TEEN v HDUBZ; C4, Stanley Family v Asure Quality.

7.15pm: C1, Unknowns v RSL51s; C2 and C3, 3+1 v WSP; C4, Mixed Combo v Cuzzys.

Duty team: Unknowns (sweep courts at end of night).
