They were the only team to win all four of their games in the first division of post-section play on Sunday.

The top 16 teams after Saturday’s play each played four games of 90 minutes on Sunday.

Five teams had three wins and one loss. Second place overall went to Mark Bain and Murray Duncan, with a differential of +33, from Robin Jefferson and Tim Sherriff, on +24.

A fourth-place prize went to Ray Smith and Mick Maunder, on +10.

The 12 teams who missed out on Section A played off for three prizes in Section B.

Kevin Bright and Jock Smith were the only undefeated team in this section.

They took first place after surviving a torrid challenge from Ray Taylor and Dennis Raggett to win their last game 16-15.

Mike Chisholm and Chris Hewson were second, with three wins and +28 differential, while Ian Carroll and Erin Sutherland finished third, with three wins and +17.
