THE top two teams could not be separated when Poverty Bay Bowling Club held its first twilight triples tournament of the year last Thursday.
The forecast heavy rain stayed away long enough for each of the teams to play two six-end games in the Star Service Centre-sponsored tournament.
Four teams
had two wins and the first two could not be separated.
The teams of Dawne Abraham (skip), Diane Doyle (director) and Anna Colvin (lead), and Kathryn Flaugere (s), Kandyce Bevan (d) and Leslie Holmes (l) both won nine ends, scored 20 points and had differentials of 17, so were joint winners.
Third place went to the team of Peter Walters (s), David Holmes (d) and Dusty Miller (l). They won eight ends.
