Kahutia Bowling Club members had a double whammy for their Christmas Tournament.
Cards were completed to decide placings for the Harold Powell Memorial Shield competition, while a lucky draw determined who got what in the Heavy Equipment Services-sponsored prize draw.
It was a cracker of an afternoon, with 31 full
playing Kahutia members combining with five social members for triples. Each team had two games.
Winners of the Harold Powell Memorial Shield were Kevin Bright (skip), Graham Atkins, (two) and social member Roger Kelso (lead). They were also winners of the first “lucky draw”.
The second lucky draw went to Cheryl Jenkins (skip), Marty Ryan (two) and Tom Johnston (lead), and the third went to Murray Murton (skip), Bruce Elliott (two) and Marie Thomas (lead).
