CENTRAL Football is investigating an “alleged incident” at the Eastern League Division 1 match between Gisborne United and Thistle Massive at Harry Barker Reserve on Saturday.
Chief operations manager Donald Piper said he was still trying to piece together what happened but he knew of no physical abuse ofanyone.
He said he did not have all the facts yet, and inquiries were ongoing.
He had received no indication that spectators were involved in the incident.
