Eight women’s teams and five men’s teams will contest the senior competitions.
“We are really pleased with that number — it’s great,” Teneti said.
“We are hoping for and heading towards at least 15 or 16 players in each team, which is really pleasing.”
The men’s teams will play for a specially created trophy.
“At this stage we have called it the Covid Cup,” Teneti said.
“The women will play for their normal competition trophies.”
She said preparations were on track for a start to the Covid-delayed season.
“We’re looking forward to getting the registrations from the primary and intermediate schools finalised before the term finishes.”
