Young talent was on show at the Gisborne Competitions Society Inc 103rd Festival of Performing Arts which ran from Saturday  to Monday. The festival involved three categories  —   dance, vocal and instrumental, and speech and drama. On stage at the War Memorial Theatre, Hannah Anderson performs a Russian item in the 12 to 14 years national dance.Mila Siata and Daisy West went barefoot in the under-12 dance duo. Looking the part in a striking black tutu is Billie Kahn in the 14 and over classical ballet section; Ella Saunders is grace and poise also in the 14 and over classical ballet.
