I understood there was a ruling years ago that “road worker” signs on our roads were to be removed over the weekends when there was no one working. Has this slipped through the cracks, and no one polices this now?
I know our roads are in a state that is not good, but where the road is good there are “worker” signs still very evident.
As I recall, contractors were to be fined for not taking the signs in. Is it another case of “slack” attitude, in either not taking the signs in or no one policing it?
