Well Wāhine Week: nature walk at Waihirere Domain one of today's events

A nature walk at Waihirere Domain this afternoon is part of Well Wāhine Week activities.

Three high school students will lead the walk to the waterfall, stopping and talking about native trees on the way.

The walk is being run by Women’s Native Tree Project.

Well Wahine Week is a Sport Gisborne Tairāwhiti initiative.

Many of the activities are run year-round, but this is a chance to try them.
