A WOMAN and a teenage girl were taken to Gisborne Hospital with injuries yesterday after the car they were in crashed on the Wharekopae Road near Ngatapa School.
Two other younger children in the vehicle were unhurt.
Emergency services responded to the crash at around 4.40pm.
“The woman had aminor to a moderate leg injury and the teenager some minor injuries,” a St John spokesman said.
A senior firefighter said the car left the road and was teetering on the brink of a drain.
