Hospice Tairāwhiti says it is excited about the opportunity to raise funds to help keep hospice services free of charge in the community with its annual raffle.
“Mitre 10 Gisborne have once again donated a 7x4 Jobmate Trailer and $500 of product with a total value $2249,” a Hospice spokeswomansaid.
Mitre 10 Gisborne owner/operator Geoff Taylor said he was pleased to be able to help once again.
“With a dedicated team of healthcare professionals including doctors and nurses Hospice Tairāwhiti offers a range of free palliative care services for people in our community. Mitre 10 welcomes the opportunity to continue to support hospice in this way.”
The trailer (and products) is the top prize in the raffle. Tickets go on sale on Monday, November 6, and will be available until December 19. The raffle will be drawn on December 21, just in time for Christmas.
• Tickets are limited to just 3000 and are priced at $5. They are available from Mitre 10, the Hospice Tairāwhiti office, Hospice Shop, and online from the Hospice Tairāwhiti website, and on selected weekends from Pak’nSave.
