The big yellow fellow is promoting the club’s annual Five Buck A Duck Race to be held Saturday lunchtime. The event is a fundraiser for Gisborne Life Education Trust and various Rotary youth scholarships and programmes including Outward Bound, an Australian exchange and university summer school.

There will be two races — the little yellow duck race and the corporate duck race. Tickets are still available for both of these. The ducks will be released from Peel Street Bridge and there will be several other activities available including the Lions train, face-painting, a bouncy castle and refreshments.

It all starts at midday.
