Oh my goodness, going to the supermarket is like going to the dentist now! One doesn’t know how much you have to pay — it’s beginning to be a nightmare. I can’t believe how everything is going up, especially women’s products. Just unbelievable. We are getting ripped off at thetill now.
Not so long ago $50 bought you a couple of bags of groceries. No more. I can understand how people are struggling out there.
Time for the Government to take GST off the basics like fruit and veg, cereals, bread, and especially women’s products.
With rents at a high and power prices rising, I really don’t know how people are surviving. It gives you a better understanding of why people are under stress, which leads to depression etc. And why crime is on the rise — which there’s no excuse for.
