Gisborne RSA plans for an expanded service, including a flyover, to honour the 80th anniversary of Battle of Britain Day in September were scaled down because of Covid-19.
Current and former service personnel and cadet forces will assemble at Plumbing World at 10.50am before marching behind the City of Gisborne Highland Pipe Band to the RSA,
The Gisborne Civic Band and Gisborne Salvation Army Band will play the National Anthem and hymns.
The guest speaker will be businessman Trevor Jukes, who was a corporal during his national service.
Gisborne Aero Club and Darton Field Aviation Trust will also have aircraft in the flyover.
