Thirty-three new Covid cases in Tairawhiti

There are 33 new cases of Covid-19 in Tairawhiti today.

“We've had between 50 and 25 cases for the last five days,” a Hauora Tairawhiti spokesman said.

“Five people are in hospital with Covid. This is the highest number of people in hospital we've had in this outbreak.”

There are 270 active cases in the region.
