Third kiwifruit shipment of season leaves Gisborne by sea

The refrigerated cargo ship Cool Royal joined the logger Atlantic Spirit alongside the Eastland Port wharf on Monday to load the third kiwifruit shipment of the season to leave Gisborne by sea. The logger sailed for Tauranga yesterday to load further cargo, and her place was taken by another log ship, the Ruby Enterprise.

The Cool Royal was scheduled to leave yesterday as well, having loaded roughly 900 pallets of local kiwifruit as under-deck cargo, not in containers.
