If there’s one thing that’s worse than apathy, it’s empty virtue-signalling.

All over New Zealand, local councils have been falling over themselves to declare a “climate emergency”, but unless I’m missing something, there has been little or no action to get people out of their petrol-driven cars. It has been words only.

How many local authorities have made public transport free?

How many have free parking for electric cars?

I could go on, but the point is obvious.
