We, the Poverty Bay Wairoa Women’s Institute, would like to thank The Gisborne Herald, More FM and HB Williams Memorial Library staff for supporting our awareness month.
The smiling little faces as they left the library with their decorated jars, the winners of our lucky draws, made our day.
Abig thank you to our wonderful, generous members who saw over 240 occupants in community housing and two retirement complexes enjoy some home-baked biscuits with a cuppa, and shared seven ice cream containers of biscuits with Hospice, the Fire Service, the rescue helicopter base, Civil Defence and the hospital A&E department.
We are so lucky to be part of our wonderful Gisborne community.
