Perfect weather highlighted the A&P Show dog trial competition out at the Showgrounds Park, that culminated this morning in the final run-off. Five  Gisborne triallists and one from Wairoa were set to decide the title against combinations from outside the district.

Competing in the qualifying runs were Colin Bayliss and Jet,  Bob Bryson and Smith, Jake Rosie and Girl, Barry McIntyre and Baldy, and Graeme Cook and Glen.
