Basketball was one of the choices yesterday for about 20 young girls taking part in the Tania Dalton Foundation holiday programme in Gisborne this week.
The Tania Dalton Foundation, created in honour of the former Silver Fern netballer who died in 2017, has added the holiday programme to its scholarship
programme.
Today is the last day of the programme here where the girls have had the opportunity to try their hand at touch and rippa rugby, softball, active dance, lawn bowls, netball and basketball.
