The work of contemporary printmakers is on display at Lysnar House Studios this weekend.
The Gisborne Printmakers Group is hosting “The Small Print”, a travelling exhibition.
Group kaitiaki Jean Johnstone said the title of the exhibition came from the fact that all prints had to be A4 size.
The exhibitionis held once every two years and features about 60 prints from printmakers across the country — including some from the Gisborne group.
“Visitors to the exhibition will also be able to see how a printmaker inks up their prints, and uses the press we have. So it's a live experience,” she said.
